A modern, distinctive pilot watch, the Commando has a robust 42mm case dimension, and oversized protruding screw-down crown, originally featured on the watch to help pilots in freezing cockpits operate them while wearing gloves. The utilitarian dial design with large hands and bold numerals are lumed for legibility. Another clever design feature are the rivets on the sturdy aviation leather strap, originally these were placed there to ensure that the watch didn't slide or fly off the wrist whilst the pilot was in flight.
