The movement includes hacking seconds; a feature commonly used on field watches to synchronize time by stopping the movement of the second hand when adjusting the time. Once the time is set, the crown is pushed back in and the second hand resumes its movement. The utilitarian dial design with large hands and bold numerals are lumed for legibility.
